Daytona Beach has a lot to offer holidaymakers and is an easy drive from your vacation villa in the Disney area.
Bandshell Concert Series are held on the Boardwalk in Daytona.
Since 1996 there have been weekly summer concerts held in the Bandshell. These are organised by The Friends of the Bandshell which is a non profit making group.
These concerts are completely free to attend and include jazz, blues, swing, soul and gospel by both professionals and school and college artistes.
These concerts run from april to october on saturdays from 7 p. m. to 10 p. m. This theatre is open air so go prepared for this. In my mind, if you are in Florida, the more you do outside the better. Plenty of time to stay inside in the British winter!
