A fan of the movies? Then you will just love Universal Studios Orlando. From the second you drive in, you are welcomed by Movie Characters. The Car Parks are named after movie characters making it easier to remember where you left your car.
Everyone is so friendly, from the moment you walk through the gate you will feel relaxed and at home. Ride the movies all day long. Here are some of the highlights of our days at Universal…..
Terminator 3D is the first main attraction you will come to, where you are transported to a futuristic world of robots where you will see Arnie try to save the world. The special effects will grab you as soon as the show starts, with audience interaction and sound effects to blow you away.
Horror Make Up Show – Not for the faint hearted, as they give you an insight in to the Make Up of the Movies, younger kids may find this a little scary, but its still a great show.
Men In Black – As you are placed in your space vehicle, be prepared to kill as many aliens as possible. You use your very own laser gun to blast away the bug eyed monsters as you are transported through the streets on your training mission to become a Special Agent. Superb ride for the kids with interaction throughout the ride
Back to the Future – This is a simulation ride, a must for a fan of the Back to the Future trilogy, you ride in the Delorian as you are sent back in time to the future. If only you could do this for real!
Jaws – Recently re-opened after a refurbishment, this is better than ever. Be prepared to get really wet though. You ride in a boat through Amity, but be careful Jaws is coming to get you. A fantastic way to cool down on those hot sunny days!
Fear Factor Live – WARNING not for the queasy, Audience participation makes this show a big hit at the park. With the 4 contestants being Park Visitors, they are subject to extreme stunts to be the winner in this hit TV show. Definitely a not to be missed attraction, but dare you volunteer for the show?
Beetlejuice’s Graveyard Revue – We visited this for the first time in November, if you are in to Rock music, then this is a must see. It’s a great show, loud music, great characters and a great way to chill out and sit back away from the hustle and bustle of the park.
