Cirque de Soleil (La Nouba)
Florida Guide > Disney General
Right I’ll start by trying not to give too much away.
If you haven’t been to the Cirque de Soliel show “La Nouba” at Downtown Disney then you are really missing out. This show is in the Big Top looking building near Disney Quest. Parking is free and there really are plenty of spaces. We got there for the evening performance so if you plan your day you can book a restaurant for before or after the show. Lot’s of the restaurants at Downtown Disney need to be booked in advance so remember this when planning your day.
After taking our seats my youngest daughter who was four at the time became a little nervous, after speaking to a member of staff we were shown to seats near the top of the auditorium which is normally reserved for disabled guests, as this area was behind glass my daughter felt very much at ease. Please remember nothing is too much trouble for Disney staff and they will do all they can to help whatever the circumstances. Some of our party stayed in the original seats given, we bought them from this site and the seats allocated were fantastic, although you would enjoy this show from every seat in the house.
We visited this event with my parents and my children, so there were three generations of our family and I really couldn’t hazard a guess at which generation enjoyed the show the most. Each of us found it amazing.
From the moment the performers enter the auditorium you are entertained. The words awesome and breathtaking are clearly an under statement. There is so much going on and you don’t know which part of the stage to watch.
The clowns were hilarious, the bikers daring, to say the least, the dancers were wonderful but in my view my favorite was the acrobats performing on the trampolines, you may imagine people bouncing up and down on a trampoline but you would really have to see this show to see what I mean. Needless to say I didn’t try any of the moves on my children’s trampoline back home.
Just remember this show is really worth seeing and you won’t forget it…. ever. Also remember it is suitable for all age groups, my little one was just having a curious day and she was nervous as to what was going to happen next, if this does happen to one of your children you don’t have to leave just speak to a member of staff who will try and seat you somewhere were you little one will feel more comfortable.
Now book your tickets and look forward to the show.
