Eating Options at Seaworld

Florida Guide > Sea World

You really are spoilt for choice for eating options when you visit Seaworld. When the girls were younger we treated them to Dine with Shamu on the last day of our holiday. We did not tell them we were going until they got to the entrance gates.

You get an allocated time to go and your own personal table. There is a beautiful buffet and you can return to it as often as you like. Beer and soft drinks are also provided free of charge as part of the dinner package.

After your meal trainers explain more about the Shamu and the show and you were allowed to get up close to the whales that had been swimming nearby as you ate.

Another nice dining experience is eating at Sharks Underwater Grill. You dine surrounded by fish dining in huge tanks. If you wish to eat here it is always best to enquire early in the day how long the wait is likely to be so that you can plan accordingly.

When we were there just before last Christmas they were advertising “Santa’s Fireside Feast at the Seafire Inn”. This was a lunch time event where you got to meet Santa and Mrs Clause whilst you had lunch. This was an all u can eat option of ham, turkey, potato casserole and stuffing for adults and there was also a children’s menu, it all sounded very good I think we may try this in the future.

In recent years Seaworld have introduced all you can eat all day dining. The price for this is approx $30 for adults and $15 for children and in the longer summer days when you can spend a long time at the park it seems a good option. The following restaurants are included in this option:

Café de Mar is open from park opening until 10. 30am and is a good place to start your day. They provide muffins, juice coffee and soft drinks.

Voyagers Smokehouse opens at 10. 00am and usually stays open until park closing time. They have BBQ ribs and chicken and plenty of salads.

If you want burgers or chicken sandwiches you can get these at Spice Mill Café which opens at 10. 30am.

Mango Joe’s café is the place to go for chicken and steak fajitas.

The Terrace Café usually opens around 10. 00am but closes about an hour before park closing and is a good place if you want turkey or beef sandwiches.

Finally Seaport Pizza provides pizzas, salads, fresh fruit and desserts.

As you see if you do want to eat at Seaworld there is plenty of choice.
