Bahama Breeze on the 192
Florida Guide > Dining
We have always been great fans of Bahama Breeze and often tried without much success to have dinner at the one in Vineland Avenue by Premium Outlets after an afternoon’s shopping. We did however manage to have several very nice lunches there without having to wait too long for a table.
Therefore we were delighted when we heard rumours which turned out to be true that Bahama Breeze were to open at Rolling Oaks Common on the 192. This is situated on the left as you drive along the 192 about 2 miles before it reaches the 27 and it opened last May 2011. I am pleased to say that although this is a busy restaurant the wait for a table is not nearly as long as the one at Vineland Avenure.
It is alongside several other good restaurants and you will have no trouble parking as the car park is large. There are also several reserved parking spaces for “ To Go” customers and they have a very comprehensive “To Go” menu a paper copy of which you can pick up at the restaurant. We always leave copies of any “To Go” menus in our Guest’s drawer of Vouchers, Tourist Information and Menus.
Outside there is a lovely eating area with live music a perfect place to dine at the end of a sunny day but you may have to wait longer for a table here. However there is also a nice seating area where anyone waiting for a table can sit and enjoy the music. Often visitors sit there whilst one member of the party gets drinks from the bar so everyone can sit and enjoy both the music and their drink.
If there are only two of you it is nearly always possible to get seats at the bar and eat there. My parents like to do this and say the atmosphere at this bar is good very like TGI Fridays used to be in the early days. On a recent visit they ate here a couple of times both times opting for an appetiser each as these are large. They noticed many people who had an appetiser and entrée had to ask for a box to take the remains of their entrée home.
The main seating area caters for all sizes of parties with some large oval tables for larger parties which are better than the long oblong tables as all guests can communicate more easily with the rest of their party.
The food as ever is scrumptious and the service extremely good with plenty of staff all working hard and communicating with each other to make sure the guests are happy. At the end of each meal a server appears with a selection of mini desserts for you to choose from.
I am sure if you visit this branch of Bahama Breeze you will enjoy it, we do.
