Scotland in the food festival.

Florida Guide > Epcot

There is good news at Epcot for the Brits and even better for the Scots. For the first time ever this year, Scotland have been added to the exhibitors at The Food and Wine Festival.

There will be a lot of Scottish whisky offered (of course) and also Scottish speciality beers.

The featured cocktail will be Rusty Nail which sounds horrible but is actually a rich blend of Drambuie and Scotch Whisky.
They are being a little more cagey about their featured food but shall we have a guess?

Scottish shortbread is the best in the World so that has to in there, honey too and of course Haggis (Haggis EN Croute maybe? )

The Epcot Food and Wine Festival runs from 28th of september to 11th november (an astounding 46 days) so many of you should be able to go and cheer on the Scots.

The appetizer portions cost from $4 to $8 and the drinks will set you back $3 to $7. This gives you the opportunity to try several dishes for your lunch or dinner and if you all order different things a veritable feast of delicious food.

There is no separate entrance fee to this event and it also includes food demonsratiuons and the Eat to the Beat concerts.
Here are some facts and figures about the festival that may surprise you.

During the run of the show:
100000 desserts will be served
350000 beers will be tasted
300000 glasses of wine will be glugged down
500000 pounds of melon will be enjoyed
