What can I saw about this show that hasn’t been said already?

We first experienced this evening of magic several years ago. We were extremely keen to see it again, and one evening during our visit in July this year, we managed to offload the children at Disney Quest (almost next door) and booked ourselves 2 prime location seats on the door.

As one enters the show there is an awe of expectation amongst the guests. People who had seen it before mixing with the many who didn’t know what to expect.

The show started promptly with 2 comic performers who performed in almost silence carrying out a very clever, well timed, routine, involving the carrying of large boxes on a trolley. Several members of the audience became unexpectedly embroiled in the act, but fortunately they took it all in good spirits.

Once they had completed their routine, loud music and bright lights, heralded the procession of performers for the show, parading through the audience. At this early stage you get a taste of the thrilling experience which is to follow.

The next hour and a half holds you completely spellbound.

It is not a circus, it is not a gymnastics display, it is men, women and children performing acts that have you holding your breath and not believing your own eyes. Part circus, part gymnastic display, part acrobatic performance.

It is a 100% assault on your main senses of sight and sound. You don’t know where to look for fear you are going to miss something spectacular. Side acts are being played out at the same time as the main performers are on stage.

Although we had seen the show before, there were many new acts and some I could remember clearly and marvelled at them all over again.

Everyone who sees the show will have their favourite acts. For me there are two which stand out from the rest.

Firstly, very young, petite girls from China performing with Diablo (although no sign of the devil here). Their grace and poise combines with outstanding skill. Their routines give timing a whole new meaning.

Secondly, the trampolining/gymnastics display which makes up the finale. As someone who has done a little trampolining in her younger days, I could only sit and stare wide eyed at the routines they perform and at such a speed.

I would recommend this show to anyone who likes the idea of being transported “out of this world” for a few hours. The tickets are not cheap but worth every single dollar you pay. There are various prices for the tickets depending upon the location of your seat.
