Eating at the Magic Kingdom
Florida Guide > Dining
If you are going to one of theme parks for the whole day and evening, which is quite possible in the peak season months, then you will be eating at least two meals and several snacks out. . I know a lot of people who stock up on a very large breakfast (not difficult in Florida) and just snack their way through the day then having dinner in the evening. However, this is not always practical for many people.
For the ultimate dining for your little “Princess” you can not go wrong by booking in the morning to eat in the evening at Cinderella’s Royal Table. This restaurant is at the top of Cinderella’s Castle and has an elaborate medieval setting and you will be dining with Disney royalty and have an opportunity to get their autographs as well.
The Crystal Palace, which is just off Main Street, USA, is a character buffet style dining experience in which you can dine while Disney characters join you to play and give autographs. This is the main place to meet Winnie the Pooh and his friends.
The Diamond Horseshoe, in Frontier Land, is an American themed restaurant featuring an all-you-can-eat buffet of pork and carved beef in the evening and sandwiches and salads for lunch.
Liberty Tree Tavern, in Liberty Square, is an eighteenth century colonial New England restaurant and sells turkey and sandwiches as well as salads.
The Plaza Restaurant, in Main Street, USA, is a charming American restaurant serving burgers, deli – style sandwiches and wonderful sweet treats and ice creams.
Tony’s Town Square Restaurant is Italian cuisine such as pizzas, pastas and paninis.
Apart from these are cafes and restaurants selling mainly fast food and snacks. The Tomorrow Land Terrace Restaurant is the largest of these and is based around four different sections selling, chicken dishes, tasty cheese burgers, wraps, salads and desserts. The Pinocchio Village Haus, in Fantasy Land, Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Café and the Golden Oak Outpost in Frontier Land and Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe in Tomorrow Land all serve chicken nuggets, pizzas, burgers and salads.
For Mexican fare on a fast food basis there is the El Pirata y el Perico restaurant in Adventureland.
There are many small kiosks serving snacks such as pop – corn, huge turkey legs, hot dogs, ice creams and cakes or pastries.
With so many choices you will certainly not go hungry.
